Red wine: A deliciously full but soft and fruity Cabernet

Description

Languedoc Roussillon, in the south of France. The Vin de Pay’s d’Oc area is the largest wine region in the world. It runs from the river Rhône to the Spanish border. The area is home to a wide variety of wines: the red, Vin de Pays wines are often spicy and charming, best drunk young. This is also possible because they are made in such a way that the skins have not been in contact with the juice for too long: the wine then remains nicely fruity without too many tannins. Vin de Pays wines are made here from typical indigenous grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsaut, Carignan, etc. There are also “big, famous” grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot planted, the climate is well suited to them. In Vin de Pays wines, the grape variety, the terroir and the enthusiasm of the winegrower are well matched. Denis Marchais is a winegrower from the Loire region. He mainly produces white wines (Sauvignon and Chardonnay, among others). At a certain point, there was a great demand for red wines and he decided to buy vineyards in the South of France. This red wine from the famous Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety (from Bordeaux) is supple and round in taste. It is fruity and has a pleasant aftertaste. The wine is now ready to drink and can be enjoyed with a nice piece of meat, whether or not from the barbecue.

This wine is packaged in a luxury wine gift box instead of a box.
