The Chardonnay grape is famous in Burgundy. In this region, beautiful wines are made from this grape. Nowadays, Chardonnay is also planted outside Burgundy.

Denis Marchais is a winegrower from the Loire region and this Chardonnay also comes from there. The region is situated in the middle of France and that is why this Chardonnay, because of the slightly milder climate there, is full of flavour, but also has some fresh tones. The wine is therefore very suitable as an aperitif or starter.
