Late Bottled Vintage Port
Quinta da Romaneira is recognised in the Port region as one of the finest Quintas for Port production. The vineyards are all situated in the best part of the Douro Valley and all have A-status. The steep south-west slopes on which the terraced vineyards are situated take maximum advantage of the high number of sunlight hours.
Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port is a Port from one vintage that matures for between four and six years in wooden casks and is then bottled. This gives a full but soft Port with hardly any depot. After opening, the wine can be kept for at least 3 to 4 weeks. Delicious with a piece of old crumbly cheese.
